Columbia University, University of Notre Dame, UCLA and Williams College are hosting an information session in Texas on October 1st in Austin. We are excited to travel together for the first time to highlight our differences and emphasize our shared commitment to excellence in preparing students for success in the 21stcentury. Sessions include an overview of each institution, the surrounding community, information on the admissions process and financial aid, and the opportunity to speak informally with admissions representatives. We expect these sessions to last approximately two hours. In addition to this programming, we will be hosting breakfast events geared towards school and community-based organization counselors. Our admission representatives are eager to share more about our individual institutions and to answer specific questions.Registration is required and we look forward to meeting you.

The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), will be hosting an SAIC Day, and attending the National Portfolio Day in your area this Fall! We welcome students and their families to attend and meet SAIC admissions staff and faculty. These events allow you to receive one-on-one portfolio reviews and learn more about SAIC’s curriculum, application process, and requirements, as well as Merit Scholarships.

Academy of Art University.  Our physical campus is located in the beautiful Bay Area in San Francisco, however most programs can be completed online if a student didn’t want to move.  We offer Associate’s through Master’s Degrees in programs including Animation, Fashion, Acting, Motion Pictures and Television, Architecture, and Game Design, to name a few.
 We are hosting an Austin Open House on September 23rd at the Westin Austin Downtown.  There will be instructors and admissions staff on hand to discuss the programs, admissions process, and scholarship opportunities.

2017 Austin Performing & Visual Arts College Fair


The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) is pleased to announce its 2017 Austin Performing & Visual Arts College Fair. This programs is an important resource for fine arts students interested in pursuing undergraduate and graduate programs of study in the areas of music, theatre, dance, visual arts, graphic design, film production, and other related disciplines. The fair will take place at the AISD Performing Arts Center on Sunday October 22hfrom p.m. to 3 p.m.
Students will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from colleges, universities, conservatories, festivals, and other educational institutions with specialized programs in the visual and performing arts. Attendees of these free events will learn about educational opportunities, admission and financial aid, portfolio days, audition and entrance requirements, and much more. Workshops will be offered at selected fairs on general information for parents and students regarding the performing and visual arts.

All participants are encouraged to register prior to attending this event. This will make navigating the fair and collecting information from multiple colleges and universities much easier. NACCAP (North American Coalition for Christian Admissions Professionals) is comprised of admissions and guidance personnel from over 300 Christian high schools, liberal arts colleges and universities, Bible colleges, graduate schools and seminaries throughout North America.
